Tina Jennen covered what Angel Investing is.  The process from prepping the pitch to getting investment for both the investor and the entrepeneur.  She also covered whether an idea should be turned into a business and invited those with ideas to attend a business pitch to fully understand the process involved.

FYD (For Youth Development)




Dan spoke about the various youth programmes that FYD offers and their impact on our youth and their communities.  FYD focuses on building relationships and creating positive outcomes.

FYD programmes have proven to reduce the incidence of bullying and criminal activity within communities as well as growing our youth's confidence, motivation.

At present, Dan is running these programmes to 2,400 WBOP children in 12 communities!

Shelley Cunningham from Ingham Mora addressed TMBA members on the different tax issues to consider coming up to 31 March year end, the opportunities available, upcoming deadlines and how to held reduce their accounting fees.

Westpac



Garth Webber from Westpac covered how to budget and plan for growth in the new financial year, the importance of preparing budgets and cashflow, and provided key worksheets to assist in preparing these.
